# Selfism.Community

> Selfism is a philosophy and a daily practice of conscious self-interest. It is not selfishness (which takes without care for others) and it is not selflessness (which gives until the giver is empty). A person who lives Selfism is called a Selfist. The practice was named and developed by the Selfism.Community team and is published as the book "Selfism — The Art of Being Selfist".

## What Selfism is

Selfism teaches a third path between selfishness and selflessness. The goal: invest in yourself first so that what you give to others comes from overflow, not depletion.
